CANgate
CANbus, GPS and data acquisition
The dataTaker CANgate is a CAN to ASCII gateway converting CAN (Controlled Area Network) and GPS data to serial data. It has been designed to capture the real-time data available on CAN and GPS networks (e.g. temperatures, RPM, brake/throttle settings, latitude, longitude, speed etc.) and pass that information on to either a dataTaker data logger or host computer system.

General Purpose
General Purpose with optional Expandability. This 10 channel (10 - 30 sensors depending on sensor type) data logger has a solid state multiplexer and supports RTD, thermocouples, strain gauges, bridges and others. With 4 digital I/O and counters, SRAM PC Cards for data storage and RS232 communications. The DT600 has a keypad and a display for control of the data logger and data viewing.

GeoLoggers - for Geotechnical Applications
Supporting Vibrating Wire Sensors, this 10 channel logger (10 to 30 sensors depending on sensor type) has a relay multiplexer for up to 100V inputs, supports thermocouples, RTD, strain gauges, bridges and others. With 4 digital I/O and counters, RS232 communications and SRAM PC Cards for data storage. The DT615 is similar to the DT515 with the addition of a key pad and 2 line x 16 character display for control of the data logger and data viewing.

DeView
DeView is a lighweight application that is used to display the data from dataTaker data logger replay files. It can display data in a time series, cross tabulated grid and a trend chart. It can also export data in 'csv' format for use in other programs such as spreadsheets.
DeView is a good choice when you need a simple application for viewing and exporting data. It also handles very large data files.

dataTaker’s range of dataTakers are designed and built to withstand the harshest environments. However, due to flooding, voltage surge, accidents, incorrect connection and mechanical damage, units may require repair or service.
dataTaker’s standard service involves an extensive examination of your dataTaker. The service includes: hardware and firmware upgrades, complete test of the system and accessories, calibration and complete report and extended warranty (optional).
Calibration of dataTakers
dataTaker provides calibration services for its range of data acquisition and data logging products. A Calibration Certificate showing traceability is provided. |
